The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations is a specialized agency that leads international efforts to defeat hunger and improve food security. Knowledge management is a critical component of the FAO’s work, as it helps the organization to share information and expertise across different regions and sectors, and to better serve its member countries.
